CheerPulse Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CheerPulse handles information in the current iPhone app build.

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Overview

CheerPulse is a quiet cheering app that lets people express support with taps, visual feedback, and optional haptics. The current build focuses on short-lived invite-code cheering rooms.

Account and permissions

The current build does not require an account or external account login. It does not ask for microphone, camera, location, contacts, or Photos permission.

Room sync data

Room sync can use temporary room codes, invite tokens, temporary nicknames, and cheer events so users can create or join a private cheering room and see room pulse changes.

  • Room codes and invite tokens are used to connect people to the same short-lived room.
  • Temporary nicknames may be used to show who is participating in a room.
  • Cheer events represent taps such as cheer buttons, pulse feedback, and related room state.

No public social profile

The current app does not use developer-owned public profiles, public feeds, public rankings, or durable account history. CheerPulse is intended for private invite-code rooms rather than a public social network.

Third-party services

Invite-room testing for the current build uses Firebase Realtime Database when the room service is reachable. Because room sync may use that service, this policy does not claim there is no third-party processing. Firebase and Apple platform behavior may be governed by their own policies.

Analytics, advertising, and payments

The reviewed current build notes do not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, account login, or payment processing. Future builds may update this policy if the app behavior changes.
