Overview
Magnet Atlas is local-first. Magnet photos, cutout masks, notes, titles, dates, places, Boards, arrangements, recently deleted items, and manual backup contents are stored on your device or in a location you choose for an exported backup. Kinno Labs does not operate a Magnet Atlas account or cloud collection service.
The app is not completely offline: city search can use Apple MapKit, purchases use Apple and RevenueCat, and optional usage and launch-campaign analytics can use Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google Analytics after you consent.
Content and device permissions
When you choose a related action, Magnet Atlas can request Camera access to photograph a magnet and Photos access to select an image or save a share card. The app processes cutout correction on device. It does not upload your magnet photos, notes, or backup archives to Kinno Labs servers.
Place search
When you search for a city, the search text and technical context needed to return place results can be sent to Apple's MapKit services. Apple handles that processing under its own terms and privacy policy. Magnet Atlas stores the place you choose with the related local magnet record.
Purchases and entitlement verification
After you accept the required Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, Magnet Atlas can contact Apple and RevenueCat when commerce is used. They can process product identifiers, offering information, purchase and receipt history, transaction status, storefront information, an anonymous RevenueCat app user identifier, and entitlement state to offer, verify, restore, refund, or revoke Collector Pro.
Apple handles payment-card information. Kinno Labs does not receive your full payment-card details. Purchase and entitlement information is used for app functionality and for aggregate commerce analytics in RevenueCat. When optional analytics consent is active, RevenueCat also receives the Firebase app-instance identifier and can send a verified non-subscription purchase event to Google Analytics.
Optional usage and campaign analytics
Usage & Campaign Analytics is optional and starts off. If you opt in during onboarding or later in Settings, Firebase Analytics can receive coarse product-interaction and lifecycle events, an app-instance identifier, device and app technical information, and an approximate region derived from a masked IP address. Magnet titles, photos, notes, city search text, Board names, and backup contents are not included in Magnet Atlas analytics events.
With that consent, RevenueCat receives the Firebase app-instance identifier to deliver verified purchase events to Google Analytics. Google Ads may use those consented events for aggregate launch-campaign conversion measurement. Magnet Atlas does not include an advertising SDK, collect IDFA or IDFV for analytics, personalize ads, export advertising audiences, use on-device conversion event data, or combine this data with other companies' apps or websites to track you.
You can turn Usage & Campaign Analytics off in Settings → Data & Privacy. This stops future Firebase event collection from the app and asks RevenueCat to clear the Firebase analytics identifier. It does not delete reports already aggregated by Firebase or Google Analytics, and commerce records required for purchase verification and restoration can remain. Refusing or withdrawing consent does not change free or paid app access.
Local diagnostics and retention
A coarse diagnostics ledger is stored only on the device to support product flows. It excludes magnet content and keeps at most 5,000 records within a 60-day window. Expired records are removed the next time the app starts or records diagnostics. Uninstalling the app removes app-managed local data from that device, subject to iOS behavior and any backups you created or system backups you control.

Data sharing, sale, and tracking
Kinno Labs does not sell Magnet Atlas personal information. The app shares limited information with the service providers described above only for place search, Apple platform operation, purchase functionality, entitlement verification, and analytics you choose to enable. Google Ads is used only for consented aggregate conversion measurement, not personalized advertising, audience export, or cross-app profiling.
Your choices and requests
You can deny Camera or Photos permission in iOS Settings, turn optional analytics off in the app, delete magnets permanently from Recently Deleted, delete local Boards where allowed, manage manual backups, and uninstall the app. For a detailed request process, visit Magnet Atlas Data Requests.
Children's privacy
Magnet Atlas is a general-audience travel-collection utility and does not provide child-directed accounts, profiles, public feeds, or developer-run social features. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the support address, contact us so we can review and respond.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when app behavior, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes can require renewed acceptance in the app and will be identified by an updated date or policy version.
